Extra Backpacks
If you need any backpacks with supplies to keep on hand for students, we have a limited supply left (plan grey and green). They can be used for all ages. Please reach out and they will be delivered to your site.

Safety Information
This year maps are being created for school sites that show the location of rooms as well as gates from a Google satellite view. In order to make this happen, there will be site visits to identify the locations of all gates. Maps will be available to emergency personnel if ever needed. I will be reaching out to principals to set a date and time to walk the campus.

Spelling Bee
We are BEE-yond excited to be participating in the 2021-2022 Placer County Spelling Bee. The Spelling Bee is for students in grades 4-8. If your site is interested in participating in the Spelling Bee, please complete the Google Form below by October 29, 2021. Report Card Information
Please read the Educator blog for additional details regarding Report Cards. Clerical will receive training on running and emailing report cards on October 18 during their clerical meeting and we will include how-to guides in an upcoming blog.

  • We are working on having attendance show on the report card and will have more details about that in the next two weeks.
MS Timeline:
  • Run preview when it works for your site
  • All data should be entered into Otus by November 9th
  • Clerical should run reports on November 10th
  • Sites email out to families on November 12th
Elementary Sample Timeline (elementary sites can determine their timeline, report cards must go home by the November 12th):
  • Run preview for teachers on November 8th
  • Run final report card on November 10th
  • Print or email home on November 12th

This is something helpful to keep in hand for families in need not only during the holidays, but all year long. LiveScan Update The Roseville PD is no longer doing live scans for fingerprinting. Please refer parents to other resources. Fire Marshall Inspection Follow-up was completed with the fire inspector to clarify what each school site needs to have posted. Please review the following and make sure your site is ready to go. BUSINESS SERVICES Assemblies Involving Animals If you are hosting an assembly at your site that involves animals you may need to have parents sign the SIG Activities Waiver. All assemblies that involve animals on campus should be communicated to parents before the event. This can be done through an email, newsletter, blog, etc. If your students WILL be touching the animals, parents must fill out the SIG Activities Waiver. If your students will NOT be touching animals and will only be looking at the animals from a distance, you do not need to have parents fill out the waiver. Kindergarten Communication Timeline Please refer to this Kindergarten Communication Timeline which has the dates that Swift messages will be sent from the District and from the Site regarding full day Kindergarten and early dismissal for the first 7 days of school.
